Film Funding Opportunities
PGU seeks to establish and strengthen partnerships with government bodies, international donors, private investors, and development agencies to create grants, film funds, and credit facilities tailored to the needs of the industry.
Distibution Opportunities
PGU aims to strengthen partnerships with cinemas, broadcasters, digital platforms, streaming services, and community film clubs to expand the reach of Ugandan films. The Guild also advocates for the establishment of standardized licensing frameworks
Film Policy
By working with government, educational institutions, and private sector partners, the Guild is committed to ensuring that the policy fosters creativity, promotes local content, and expands international co-production opportunities.
Film Club
Starting with institutions like Seroma Christian High School and St. Catherine Junior School Sonde, the initiative introduces young learners to storytelling, film appreciation, and hands-on creative activities.
