Film Club

As part of its commitment to nurturing future talent, the Producers Guild of Uganda (PGU) is spearheading the establishment of Film Clubs in schools across the country. This initiative aims to promote film, storytelling, and creativity from the grassroots level, giving young people early exposure to the art and business of filmmaking.

Through these clubs, students will have the opportunity to learn about film production, develop creative skills, and engage in mentorship programs with industry professionals. The initiative also fosters a culture of appreciation for Ugandan cinema, while inspiring the next generation of filmmakers who will contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the national film industry.

Starting with institutions like Seroma Christian High School and St. Catherine Junior School Sonde, the initiative introduces young learners to storytelling, film appreciation, and hands-on creative activities.
