The National Producers Guild of Uganda (PGU) is the professional body representing Film & Television producers in Uganda. Established as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, PGU’s mission is to advocate for, promote, and support the rights, interests, and professional development of producers, fostering a sustainable and a competitive, creative economy for Uganda.

You can apply for membership in two ways:
In-person: Visit the PGU Head Office on Lungujja Avenue and submit your application through the Membership Department.
Online: Register via our membership portal at membership.producersguilduganda.com.
To qualify, applicants must have a minimum of two producer credits, with a referee provided for each project. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will be officially enrolled in the PGU system.
The Producers Guild of Uganda requires a one-time registration fee of UGX 100,000 for new members. After the first year, members pay an annual renewal fee of UGX 50,000 to maintain active membership status.
You can pay your membership fee using one of the following options:
Mobile Money – Send payment to 0704 866194. After payment, you must share your Mobile Money transaction reference number with the Membership Department for verification.
Cash Payment – Pay directly to the Finance Director at the PGU Head Office.
