Nathan Magoola is a creative entrepreneur, writer, director, advertising creative and producer. He worked on the feature film project, DIVIZIONZ, as an Associate Producer. It premiered at the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival.
In 2012, he produced the short film Reflection, directed by Peter Tukei Muhumuza commissioned by Danish Icelandic artist Olarfur Elliason as part of Little Sun at the Tate Modern exhibition, London Festival 2012. He was also selected to attend the Berlinale Talent Campus.
In 2013, he produced the feature Felistas Fable, directed by Dilman Dila which premiered at the Goteborg International Film Festival. The same year he attended the Durban Talent Campus.
He produced the short film Walk with Me, directed by Peter Tukei Muhumuza. It premiered in the 2014 Tiger Awards Competition for short films at IFF Rotterdam. He selected to attend the prestigious European Producers training EAVE European Producers Workshop with a scholarship from CNC, France.
In 2016, Nathan attended the Ontario Creates International Financing Forum at Toronto International Film Festival.
He is a recipient of Cinemart Rotterdam Lab Award and Sundance Spotlight award from the Durban Filmmart.
In 2024, Nathan attended the Red Sea SeriesLab workshop of the Red Sea International Film Festival.
Nathan is a member of the prestigious ACE producers network and a member of the advisory board of Women in Film (Uganda), Rotterdam Lab and a Nipkow Fellow.
