INFINITY is the debut musical short film by Miriam Tamar Nsimbi & Ernest “GNL Zamba” Nsimbi, who is also a PGU member. Blending spoken word, hip-hop poetry, Afro-fusion music, and indigenous storytelling, Infinity is a stunning cinematic experience exploring spirituality, healing, and the interconnectedness of humanity. The turn up at the American Center for the screening of INFINITY was impressive. The film itself was a beautiful story with such creativity and uniqueness. It was clear to see that great thought and artistry was put into the project.
About the short Film:
A stunning musical and visual experience set in the birthplace of humanity, Uganda, INFINITY reminds us that the universe works in mysterious ways to reveal what is most important. INFINITY tells the story of a young boy who must unlearn his selfish ways, and come to understand the interconnectedness of the universe and the importance of community. Through the guidance of a shaman and his pure-hearted little sister, we observe how ancient wisdom can guide a lost soul to deliverance.
